THE CORONAVIRUS IMPACT:
A NOTE FROM OUR LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS
PLEASE BE PATIENT.
The coronavirus has created a "snowball effect" of supply chain and staffing problems for businesses large and small, making it impossible to consistently provide the products and services we want for our customers. Many of us are unable to take on new work orders and, even locally, some have had to close their doors.
Fortunately for us, people who have been spending a lot of time at home are turning to gardening and landscaping as a welcome escape, so in our business customer demand is high. Unfortunately, unemployment numbers are also high and, like many other businesses everywhere, we are struggling to get enough workers to survive.
Landscaping product manufacturers have also been impacted, so inventory is limited - if we can get it at all. Nurseries for trees, shrubs, flowers and plants have been hit especially hard, and are unable to keep up with demand. Providing delivery service, especially trucks and truck drivers, is a constant challenge.
Without enough workers, no one can get their jobs done.
It all adds up to a nightmare for our small business. We want to serve you and we want to earn your trust, but until everything gets back on track we can only promise that we will do the best we can.
